South Do Son Travel Port Begins Operations

The South Do Son travel port officially began operating at Hon Dau international tourist area in Hai Phong province, which aims to open up the Do Son - Cat Ba – Ha Long – Mong Cai sea route in the future.
The project, a new highlight of tourism in Hai Phong, was funded by the Hon Dau International Tourism Joint Stock Company.
The company bought two high-speed boats which will be test-run on the Do Son – Cat Ba sea route.
The opening of the port will further facilitate sea tourism in the province and increase tour packages to attract domestic and international visitors to the region. The opening of the port also marked the opening of the 2012 Hai Phong – Do So Tourism Festival.
