Max One - Accompanying and CreativePosted: Monday, May 14, 2012
For the first time, a very young Vietnamese fertiliser company boldly researched and produced fertilisers to treat young rotten fruits and leaf yellowing and nurture treated plants to grow strongly to the highest productivity. This problem had not been resolved in Vietnam for years before the advent of a new fertiliser called Max One produced by My Viet Fertiliser Company (UVF).
As no other fertiliser can treat young fruit dropping and leaf yellowing in coffee and pepper trees, it is not strange to see Max One to quickly dominate the Central Highlands market and become a must-use product of local coffee and pepper growers.
Like many other young businesses, My Viet Fertiliser Company had a struggling start because of its young profession, limited experience and losses from unfair competition. Recalling those days, Director Tran Dung could not conceal his sense of worry. Knowing that a young enterprise will hardly compete with long-standing brands in financial capacity, brand popularity, prices and promotional programmes, My Viet was determined to create a completely new product.
With a long time working with farmers, the Board of Directors understood what farmers really wanted. My Viet was born from passions, aspirations and sharing with farmers. Insight researches helped the company to find a different direction to go.
After many fieldtrips, the company’s experts knew that coffee and pepper farmers were very worried about young fruit dropping and leaf yellowing but they did not know how to stop it effectively. The company’s Board of Directors realised the opportunity and determined to generate a product to their wish. My Viet invited fertiliser professionals to cooperate in research. After nearly three years of research, which was sometimes interrupted by hopeless progress, the company eventually created a new line of fertiliser product branded Max One for the market.
This innovative product prevents fruit drop and leaf yellowing of coffee and pepper trees. It also provides nutrients for plants to recover very quickly. The Board of Directors said: "After the success of Max One, My Viet will cooperate with a partner to produce a specialised fertiliser called Amazon. This product is being sold very well as it stimulates concurrent flowering."
However, with the success of Max One, My Viet faced unfair competition. When Max One was sold well on the market, competitors produced Max One-copying products. This really confused consumers.
Despite annoyingly unfair competition, the company is very confident of the growth of My Viet. “Products must be well responded by the market. Fertiliser producers and suppliers necessarily compete fairly: Good products to farmers will be successful.” Therefore, the company must constantly research and supply the market with better products and services to compete. Tran Dung said: "In a business, the leaders must be the guide of innovations and build a well-connected process and system. To develop, the company cannot rely on existing products but it has to find out new ones. New products will support existing ones to go ahead.”
Thanks to innovation and creativity in both business and production methods, My Viet has gradually overcome difficulties and find out new therapies and formulas for farmers to improve productivity and crop quality. To date, the company has become a loyal companion of farmers with products of outstanding characteristics. This is also the target when the company introduced Max One to the market.
