Approved for establishment by the Prime Minister in 2013, Nam Cao University Complex, located in Phu Ly city and Duy Tien town, Ha Nam province, is aimed to become a general university complex, a scientific and technological research and development center.

Plaschem Group, established in 1999, started with plastic tarpaulin manufacturing. In 2001, Plaschem Group built a factory in Gia Lam district (Hanoi) and invested in the first plastic pelletizing production line powered by technology imported from Starlinger (Austria).
