Tien Giang to Host Vietnam ICT Development Cooperation Conference 2011

The Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang will host the Vietnam ICT Development Cooperation Conference on August 26 and 27, 2011.

 

Themed “Speeding up ICT application for Mekong Delta’s agricultural development, farmers and rural areas,” the conference is a forum for policymakers, managers, specialists and businesses to learn, exchange, and capture the reality, capabilities, demands, solutions and policies on ICT promotion and development for State management organs, businesses and businesspeople. The event will highlight ICT application and development cooperation models and programmes in service of agriculture, farmers and countryside in the Mekong Delta; Technologies, solutions and products for ICT development and application; Security infrastructure for ICT applications; Online service and commerce and electronic communication ports; successful examples in ICT application to socioeconomic development in Mekong Delta and regional localities.

 

The conference, to be held at Tien Giang Convention Centre at No. 6, Rach Gam Road, Ward 1, My Tho City, will also be incorporated with ICT exhibition and fair; meeting for ICT associations; ICT Carnival; sightseeing, and Mekong ICT Tennis Cup 2011.
