Recently, at the head office of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, South Korea-invested companies presented corporate social responsibility (CSR) works to the northern province.

A group of South Korean companies raised more than US$204,000 (VND4.284 billion) to support local social development.

South Korea is currently the third largest foreign investor Vietnam with US$28.7 billion as of October 2013 and more than 2,900 operating companies.

Along with robust business investment expansion in Vietnam, South Korean firms participate very actively in CSR in the province. This activity shows their contribution to Vietnam’s social development.
