Bac Ninh Department of Home Affairs Strives to Successfully Complete Tasks

In recent years, the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Ninh has been fully achieving political tasks. The department has actively implemented an overall programme of administrative reform of the "single -window" system and "one-stop shop" system. The administrative procedures have been reviewed, supplemented, and amended to ensure simplicity, openness and transparency to create favourable conditions for citizens and organisations to carry out administrative procedures. The department continues to implement the decision of the Prime Minister on the project "Promoting the reform process of the civil and public service system" with the goal of building public services professionally, responsibly, dynamically, transparently and effectively.

 

The administration of officials and civil servants in the province is being deployed comprehensively, tightly and efficiently under the law, contributing significantly to developing and improving the quality of officials and civil servants. The processes of personnel management and recruitment have been implemented timely and consistently with the reality of the province.

 

The development of the local government has been prioritised to build a transparent and strong government. Besides, other activities regarding the implementation of Resolution 5 on renewing and improving the quality of political systems in communes, wards and towns and creating regulation on organisation and operation of villages, towns in the province. The department also helps improve the quality of civil servants; by 2020, communal officials will have qualifications to meet the requirements: 100 percent staff and 70 percent of key officials have college or higher education degrees, creating a visible change in quality of the activities in order to meet the requirements of socio- economic development at local level.

 

The appraisal has provided many positive changes; the movement has been launched in all areas of life, contributing to socio-economic development. The discovery and replication of advanced models through the movement are a focus. Recently, the movement has been associated with studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh and the movement of Bac Ninh in the process of building new rural areas. Accordingly, many individuals have been rewarded and praised.

 

In the last 6 months of 2015, the Bac Ninh Department of Home Affairs will focus on promoting administrative reform and effectively implementing the one-stop system under Decision 09/2015/ QD-TTg to create favourable conditions for individuals and organisations who work with state administrative agencies; implementing the decentralisation of management, recruiting cadres and civil servants through examinations in 2015; promoting the application of information technology in professional activities and enhancing administration of the agency and units.

 

For such the achievements, Bac Ninh Department of Home Affairs has received prestigious awards of the Party, the Government, Ministries and the Provincial People's Committee, including Labour Order Second Class, Emulation Flag of the Government, Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Emulation Flag of the PPC. During 70 years of development, the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Ninh has left many valuable lessons for generations of cadres and civil servants, officials and employees. Such lessons also motivate the department to overcome difficulties and fulfil the upcoming tasks, contributing to the building of a strong administration system of the province.
