Hanoi Hosts ASEAN Capital Markets Forum
A forum to develop capital markets and facilitate cross-border issuance of shares among the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) will begin today [February 18] in Hanoi.
The 8th ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) hosted for the first time by Vietnam's State Securities Commission gathers top officials and experts who are seeking measures to cooperate securities market among the country members.
The officials will discuss regulations on issuing information, financial reports and shares with the goal of harmonizing differences in securities law.
Participants will also seek to engender legislations for businesses to issue shares in other countries to facilitate free-flowing capital within a manageable regional framework. (Labor)
