Vietnamese Firm Offers GlobalGAP Rice
ADC Company based in Mekong Delta’ province An Giang has provided its high-quality rice under Tu quy brand and production of which meet GlobalGAP procedures.
ADC Co. provided inbreed rice seed for farmers in An Giang province to cultivate the rice in concentrated region following GlobalGAP standard. The company also signed contract with local farmers to buy almost all of the rice at price 20% higher than ordinary rice.
“Tu quy” rice production by GlobalGAP is environmentally-friendly to both farmers and consumers. The rice is expected to meet high requirements by such strict markets as the U.S. and EU.
