Doosan Vina Exports $17.5M Cranes to Indonesia
Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam (Doosan Vina), an affiliate of South Korean Doosan Heavy Industries, shipped seven cranes worth $17.5 million to Indonesia on Feb. 22.
The shipment of two rail mounted quay cranes (RMQC) and five rubber tired gantry cranes (RTGC) was under a contract with Indonesian partner of PT Pelebuhan Samudera Palaran.
The cranes that are capable of handling containers weighing up to 40 tons will be installed at Palaran Port.
The company plans to export 36 RMQC and 398 RTGC during the 2010-2016 period.
Located in the Dung Quat Economic Zone in the central province of Quang Ngai, Doosan Vina has five factories, employing more than 1,700 workers. (Labor)
