VIB Raises Deposit Interest Rate
The Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB) has raised interest rates for US dollar and Vietnamese dong deposits of accumulative savings and ordinary savings products.
Accordingly, the rates are raised from 0.43 % per annum to 0.85 %, depending on maturities. Together with USD deposit rate hike, the rate for VND deposits is increased by 0.19 % per annum to 10.49 % per annum for 1-12-month periods.
Besides, depositors can join the promotional programme called “Gifts for New Year - Joys for Family” with 50,000 gifts like glass discs, table covers, glass bowls and forks.
