Vietnam Ministry to Cut 7.2% of Administrative Procedures
The Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), which released all 500 administrative procedures, said it will remove 7.2% of these procedures to facilitate business operations.
The move is in line with the government’s Project 30, under which 30% of the current administrative procedures should be reduced to help the country save VND30 trillion ($1.57 billion) a year.
The MPI will maintain 79 administrative procedures while it will revise 388 others.
A number of ministries, including the central bank, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, have announced their plans to simplify administrative procedures. (Economy & Urban)
