Metro Cash & Carry Builds 11th Wholesale Center in Vietnam

 Germany’s Metro Cash & Carry started building a wholesale center in the central province of Binh Dinh May 7, the eleventh of its kind in Vietnam.
 
The center covering three hectares in Quy Nhon City has a total investment of $17 million.
 
The facility, which is slated for operation in the fourth quarter of this year, will offer over 25,000 different kinds of products for sales.
 
Metro Cash & Carry, one of the world’s leading players in self-service wholesale, opened business in Vietnam in 2002 and has so far operated a chain of nine wholesale centers, including three in Ho Chi Minh City, two in Hanoi, and each one in Haiphong City, Danang City, Can Tho City and Dong Nai province.
