Under the theme of “Together for the Future”, the Corporate Social Responsibility Competition 2011 to be held by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) aims to support small and medium-sized companies that wield a positive influence on sustainable development. The participants with the most promising project ideas will be rewarded with co-financing grants of 5,000 to 20,000 euro for project implementation.

The idea of CSR is to integrate social and environmental aspects into business decisions. All Vietnamese small and medium enterprises and cooperatives with a proven stable financial record for the past two years can participate in. It is crucial that the project generate a measurable value for society and / or for the environment, in addition to benefits for the company. Projects that include disadvantaged groups like ethnic minorities, women and people with disabilities are most welcome.

Companies can implement the projects within their own product line or may extend the planned activities to their suppliers or distributors.
