Green Biz Solutions for Vietnam

The Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI - HCM) collaborated with the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) and the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) to organise a press conference to introduce the second edition of Conference and Exhibition on European Green Business Solutions (GreenBiz 2011).

 

Mr Alain Cany, President of EuroCham, said GreenBiz 2011 will discuss Vietnam’s challenges in dealing with climate change, energy and green environment. Main topics include sustainable cities development, friendly technology, green investment and sustainability strategies for transportation and manufacturing.

 

GreenBiz 2011 will promote strategic partnerships and commitments between Vietnamese and European companies. The event will bring rare opportunities for European companies to introduce methods they can assist Vietnam in a sustainable manner via a diverse green technology exhibition programme.

 

“GreenBiz 2011 will serve as a bridge for both Vietnamese and EU businesses to discuss strategies for Vietnam’s shift toward a greener, more sustainable low-carbon future,” said Mr Alain Cany.

 

GreenBiz 2011 is scheduled to be opened from September 15 to 16 at the White Palace Convention Centre. Vietnamese exhibitors will be offered a 50 percent fee discount. The event is expected to attract 100 corporate exhibitors and more than 4,000 corporate representatives.
