Challenge and Opportunities in Developing Vietnam Supporting Industry Towards AEC

As the continually thriving economy and constant structural improvement has made Vietnam one of the most enticing investment destinations in Asia, especially in the manufacturing, supporting and electronics industry, the Association of Electronic Industries in Singapore (AEIS) will lead its members to explore opportunities and possibilities to expand business and network in Vietnam with “Business Mission” program organized by Reed Tradex Co., Ltd.
 
“Business Mission to Hanoi” is a series of networking activities on Thursday 24 May 2012 at 1300 – 1600hrs at under theme “Challenge and Opportunities in Developing Vietnam Supporting Industry Towards ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)” at Grand Ballroom#1 Melia Hanoi Hotel.  It is the one of marketing activities to promote METALEX and NEPCON Vietnam 2012 which will be held in October 2012 in Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2013 in Hanoi.

Mr Chainarong Limpkittisin, Managing Director of Reed Tradex said that recently a representative from the South Korean Electronics Enterprises Association says that Korean businesses are inclined to move their factories in China to Vietnam which is now perceived as having a more favorable growth environment. Jang Seok Jun, Chief of the Group of Broadcasting Enterprises made the statement to create trading partnership among Vietnamese and Korean investors. Le Ngoc Son, President of the Vietnamese Electronics Enterprises Association, says the domestic industry is getting a great growth opportunity from Japan and Korea that Vietnam should make full use of.
