After nearly 10 years on the insurance market of Vietnam, VietinBank Insurance Company (VBI) has not only achieved impressive results in business, but also actively participated in community activities.
In 2015, VBI has developed towards a vision of leading the retail segment in Vietnam insurance market. The evidence for the success of the VBI is that in 2015, VBI revenue was VND550 billion, growth of 77 percent compared with 2014, and profits reached VND68.7 billion, up 8.7 percent compared with 2014.
Specifically, VBI has been honoured with many prestigious titles like "Vietnam Excellent Brand 2014", "Top 20 famous brands", and was listed by Vietnam Report in Top 1000 Enterprises paying biggest income tax in Vietnam. Most recently, in October 2015, VBI was honoured with the title "Vietnam Gold Star", confirming the ongoing development and the rise of VBI.
In addition, VBI further consolidates and develops the operating network system across the country. In January 2015, VBI established Northwest branch and Dong Nai branch. In May 2015, VBI established branch in Nghe An. In July 2015, VBI established branches in Khanh Hoa and Can Tho. Each VBI staff is keenly aware of the consultancy and service for customers to choose the most appropriate insurance product, with premium rates and optimal insurance conditions. In case of risk, VBI staff is always speedy, visiting, encouraging and guiding the procedures to compensate customers quickly and conveniently. All comments from customers are received to satisfy every request with the highest benefit.
In 2015, VBI has signed a comprehensive cooperation with OceanBank and GPBank. Cooperation Agreements with Ocean Bank and GPBank marked development of VBI in the bilateral and multilateral cooperation, improving business performance, contributing to affirm the VBI brand in the Vietnam’s market.
To further enhance the competitiveness and management capability, VBI has renewed governance, developed service operations systems and product diversification through improved modern technology systems and service system. At the same time, VBI also has studied and prepared for the shifting towards equitisation in 2016 to meet the evolving needs of businesses.
Along with the flourished business, VBI has also left many impressions with many activities for the community such as: giving gifts and organisation of the examination for the poor in 63 provinces across the country, participating in festival blood donation, the "Love Porridge" in Paediatrics Hospital along with VietinBank, and organising charity programme "Warm Clothes for You" to donate clothes and school supplies for the children in communes of Tuong Son and O O, Gia Hop in Anh Son District, Nghe An Province.
Looking to build sustainable business development, long-term business strategy, focusing on improving the quality of customer service, in 2016, VBI will continue to make breakthroughs in the provision of products and insurance services, financial package, fulfilling the strategic goal of paradigm shift in order to improve business efficiency, bringing added value to customers.
