Work Starts on Second-Phase Construction of CADIVI Electric Cable Production Plant in Tan Phu Trung IP
On January 28, 2016, Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation (CADIVI) held a groundbreaking ceremony on the second-phase construction of an electric cable production factory in Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Cu Chi district. The plant is situated on Road N7 on a land plot of over 30,000 square metres.
Earlier, in 2012, CADIVI started the first-phase construction of the plant on an area of 10,000 square metres with a total investment of VND227 billion. Equipped with the world’s advanced underground medium voltage cable technology, transferred by Troester Company of Germany, with catenary continuous vulcanization (CCV) line method, the factory is capable of producing power cables with a cross section of from 25 mm2- 630 mm2 and 36-kV voltage capacity. Its products have much helped the power industry to bring cables underground.
In this second phase, CADIVI expanded the plant by over 9,000 square metres with a total investment capital of nearly VND250 billion. With the corporation’s strong growth target in 2016 in the context of the country's rapid integrating economy, the expansion will help CADIVI effectively meet the demands of the power industry and boost its exports.
