Swinging Toward Deeper Development of Vietnam - China Business Cooperation

The Vietnam - China Friendship Entrepreneurs Tournament 2025 officially concluded on December 21 at Heron Lake Golf Resort, Phu Tho Province, bringing together nearly 100 golfers from the Vietnamese and Chinese business communities.

More than a sporting event, the tournament offered participants an engaging platform for relaxation, networking, and strengthening business ties between entrepreneurs from the two countries. Through golf, business leaders were able to connect in an open and friendly environment, fostering dialogue and cooperation.

At the awards ceremony, Mr. Steve Bui, Chairman of the Vietnam–China Business Council and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that the tournament serves not only as a healthy sporting activity but also as a practical networking initiative. He noted that the event contributes to enhancing mutual understanding and trust, while expanding opportunities for bilateral business cooperation. Golf, with its unique characteristics, has increasingly become a “common language” for the business community in economic diplomacy.

A key highlight of the 2025 tournament was the vibrant networking activities held alongside the competition. On the course and during related gatherings, Vietnamese and Chinese entrepreneurs exchanged business insights, explored potential partnerships, and laid the foundation for long-term collaboration.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding golfers across multiple categories. First prizes were awarded to Huang Huaming (Group A), Nguyen Vu Minh Hoang (Group B), Vu Hai Dang (Group C), and Vu Thi Nhung (Women’s Group). Second prizes went to Do Huy Thang (Group A), Lê Hong Phuc (Group B), Le Minh Son (Group C), and Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Women’s Group). Third prizes were awarded to Pham Quoc Toan (Group A), Mo Xiaolin (Group B), Zhang Shuqiu (Group C), and Le Thi Nhat Lam (Women’s Group).

The Best Gross title was claimed by Tran To An, who posted an impressive score of 78 strokes. In addition, technical awards for Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive recognized exceptional individual performances, adding excitement and professionalism to the tournament.

Concluding the 2025 season, the Vietnam–China Friendship Entrepreneurs Tournament left a strong and positive impression, reaffirming the effectiveness of sports as a bridge for business connectivity. The event also sets high expectations for the upcoming Vietnam–China Spring Golf Private Tournament, scheduled for March 2026 at Mong Cai Golf Course, Quang Ninh Province, which promises to further strengthen exchanges, cooperation, and friendship between the business communities of the two nations.
