Binh Minh Plastics: The next destination of ESG Company Tour 2026

Manufacturing enterprises are increasingly prioritizing automation to enhance productivity, optimize costs, and promote sustainable development. However, limited financial resources and implementation capabilities make it challenging for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to identify suitable investment solutions and access green financing.

Established in 1977, Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company is a pioneer in Vietnam's plastic building materials industry. The company currently operates three modern manufacturing facilities in Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, and Hung Yen, specializing in plastic pipes and fittings that meet national and international standards.

Mr. Niwat Athiwattananont, General Director of Binh Minh Plastics JSC and Vice President of SCG Vietnam, shared: “SME is the driving force of Vietnam's economy. When SMEs grow stronger, supply chains and industries become more competitive - and Vietnam becomes stronger. That is the spirit of Go Together.”

Against this backdrop, Binh Minh Plastics, a member of SCG Group, became the next destination of ESG Company Tour 2026, showcasing a practical model for technology adoption and sustainable development. Guided by its 4P framework (Process, Productivity, People, and Product), Binh Minh Plastics has progressively modernized its manufacturing operations by adopting automation and digital technologies, including automated material feeding and mixing systems, robotic solutions for product handling, cutting, and PVC valve assembly, as well as the integration of AI, IoT, and real-time data…

In addition, the panel discussion, titled "ESG 2026: Automation – Efficiency – Green Finance," explored key issues such as prioritizing automation investments, evaluating investment effectiveness, and balancing productivity with sustainability goals. Speakers also shared insights into the requirements for accessing green financing, helping SMEs develop suitable transition roadmaps.

Continuing the Go Together journey: Supporting SMEs in their green transformation

Previously, in August 2026, the first ESG Company Tour at the Prime Tien Phong factory provided participants with an opportunity to explore Prime Group’s sustainable development model, built on three key pillars: Green Manufacturing, Green Products, and Green Living Spaces.

Participating businesses tour Binh Minh Plastics' manufacturing facility to explore automation solutions and best practices for improving production efficiency.
