Aquatic Export Exceeds US$1.3 Billion in Jan-May
The Ministry of Fisheries said the aquatic export value was US$320 million in May, totalling US$1.335 billion in the first five months of the year, fulfilling 37.08 per cent of the target set for this year and representing an increase of 21.87 per cent on year.
In general, seafood export processing units in the country reported stable production and export. They focused on processing frozen seafood, dried seafood for export to France, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Australia.
