100 Best Tourism Operators in Vietnam Named

The Vietnam Economic Times Magazine June 11 selected the list of 100 best tourism businesses operating in Vietnam for the 2006-2007 Guide Awards.

 

Ho Chi Minh City registered the first position , with eight hotels gaining the Awards.

 

Anoasis Beach Resort in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Evason Ana Mandara Resort in central Khanh Hoa province, Furama Resort in central Danang city, Pilgrimage Village in central Thua Thien-Hue province and Long Thanh Golf Resort in southern Dong Nai province were also the winners.

 

The awarding ceremony is scheduled to be held in the central coastal city of Nha Trang on June 15.

 

The annual Guide Awards aims to honor these businesses’ perfect blend of services quality and efficiency in addition to their performance in environmental protection, use of natural materials and upholding of traditional cultural identities.

 

Since 1999, the Guide Awards has been jointly organized by Thoi Bao Kinh Te Vietnam (Vietnam Economic Times) Magazine and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

 

Last year, more than 100 tourism operators and services were honored. (Young People, Vietnam Panorama)
