Processed Industrial Goods Make up 40 per cent of Vietnam's Export Revenues

The export revenue of processed industrial products accounts for just 40 per cent of Vietnam’s total export earnings in the first half this year, much lower than frequently reported percentage of 50-60 per cent, said the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
 
In the six-month period, processed industrial exports are estimated to rake in US$9 billion while the country’s total export turnover is US$22.455 billion.
 
The Ministry of Planning and Investment said textile and garment tops with $3.43 billion, followed by footwear $1.93 billion and woodwork $1.13 billion.
 
This year, Vietnam is forecast to bag $47.5 billion in exports, up 20 per cent against last year. (Investment)
