Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia Cooperate in Tourism

A seminar on developing tourism between localities with world cultural heritage sites, including Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Kon Tum and Dak Lak provinces (Vietnam), Champasak and Luang Prabang (Laos ) and Siemriep (Cambodia), was held on June 28, 2007. The seminar released a joint statement under which Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and localities with world heritages in these nations will closely cooperate in building favourable mechanisms and legal corridors for the joint association of world heritages.

 

Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia will further boost cultural exchange and human resource training for the regional tourism sector, and annually organise joint forums to discuss tourism cooperation and development amid world heritages in Indochina in particular and around the globe.
