Please let us about tax incentive based on localization rate according to Official Letter No.1211/BTC-TCHQ
On 23 January 2007, the Ministry of Finance issued Official Letter No.1211/BTC-TCHQ guiding the implementation of tax incentive based on localization rate.
Accordingly, as to spare parts, accessories imported for assembling mechanic- electric- electronic products of enterprises which already registered and applied tax incentive based on localization rate in 2006, such preferential import tax rate shall continue to be applied according to the localization of mechanic- electric- electronic articles if imported goods subject to foreign commercial contracts signed before 01 October 2006 and under the customs declaration registered with customs before the effective date of Decision No. 02/2007/QD-BTC dated 05 January 2007 on amendment of preferential import tax rate of mechanic- electric- electronic spare parts, accessories.
