Honda Vietnam Sells Nearly 2,800 Civic Sedans
Honda Vietnam sold nearly 2,800 Civic crossover vehicles in Vietnam since August 2006, said deputy general director Gan Kok Seng.
The presence on the automobile market in Vietnam since August 2006 marked a milestone in the Honda car business in the country, he said.
Honda Civic has become the best seller passenger vehicle segment, he added. “Honda Vietnam expects to sell 3,300 Civic vehicles in 2007.”
Honda Civic comes in two models, including the 1.8L Honda Civic priced US$31,000-32,200 and 2.0L sedan priced US$37,800.
Honda Vietnam is also manufacturing motorcycles in Vietnam. The company is now holding around 60 per cent of the market share.
Honda production facilities are now located in northern Vinh Phuc province, about 40 km north of Hanoi. (VNA)
