Hong Kong's Golden Resource to Open 500 Retail Stores in Vietnam

The Golden Resources Development Limited of Hong Kong, China will invest to build over 500 retail stores in Ho Chi Minh City, the southern metropolis of Vietnam.
 
The GR Vietnam Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of the Golden Resources Development International Limited, and the Food Company of Ho Chi Minh City (FOOCOSA) November 14 agreed on a joint venture to develop retail and commercial businesses in Vietnam.
 
The construction of a 500-retail store system will be the first operation of the joint venture, an official said at the signing ceremony in Hong Kong.
 
Howard Wong, chairman of GR Vietnam Holdings Limited noted Golden Resource Group has run in Vietnam for 18 years, therefore expanding its operations there is a necessary step for the group's long-term development strategy in the growing market in particular and the Southeast Asian region in general.
