VCTV9 - INFOTV: Leading Information Channel for Enterprises

To meet the high demand for specific information of economics, finance and especially the stock market in Vietnam, Vietnam Television has officially launched cable TV channel VCTV9-InfoTV from August 1, 2007, consecutively broadcasting from 6:00 to 24:00.

 

The business channel provides outstanding, useful bulletins to business people and securities investors, including Economics – Finance bulletin, Info Securities bulletin, Export-import bulletin, 365 Market bulletin, Investment bulletin, and many updated and related issues.  

 

VCTV9-InfoTV is now offering a widespread propaganda programme with a huge range of securities and finance market information, from basic knowledge to technical analyses, intensive comments on both local and international stock markets, as well as practicing games with virtual stock exchanges. Especially, in the near future, the channel is going to launch a securities bulletin at 8:00 to help investors have enough information before making trading decisions everyday.    

 

From January 2008, VCTV9-InfoTV is scheduled to be broadcasted 24 hours per day. All information of VCTV9-InfoTV is also available online at www.infotv.vn and www.infotv.vtv.vn.

 

Vietnam Cable TV have lured more than 1 million household subscribers so far, including 200,000 in Hanoi, 400,000 in Ho Chi Minh City, 50,000 in Hai Phong City, 20,000 in Hai Duong province, and around 100,000 in other localities.
