Vietnamese companies will arrive in Beijing to take part in an international fair on textiles and garments from March 27-29.

The tour, organized by the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas), is to expand market share, introduce and promote products, and seek partners for local apparel businesses.

The annual fair, set to cover an area of 48,000square meters and house 800 pavilions, will showcase products, materials and accessories and technologies in the textile and garment field.

The event is expected to be a good chance for Vietnamese apparel makers to introduce their products to customers from the European Union (EU) and the U.S., and seek sources of materials and accessories serving their production.

Vietnam has been listed among the world’s top ten apparel exporters with US$7.8 billion export revenues last year. The country targets to obtain apparel export earnings of US$25 billion by 2020 to be one of the five biggest garment exporters in the world. (Investment)
