U.S. Removes Duty on 2 Vietnam Seafood Exporters
The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has decided to remove anti-dumping tariff on frozen tra catfish exported by the Vietnam-based QVD FOODS and QVD USA after the third administrative review.
The move brought total number of Vietnamese catfish exporters to be exempted from the tariff to 27 to date.
Buid Duc Quy, director of the QVD Foods said this big decision benefits the company, whose products had been imposed on 14.59 per cent tariff.
Currently, five Vietnamese seafood companies are in part of the administrative review, including An Giang Fisheries Import and Export Joint Stock Co.; Anvifish Co. Ltd.; An Xuyen Co. Ltd.; Thuan Hung Co. Ltd. (aka THUFICO); and Lian Heng Trading Co. Ltd. (Vasep)
