Vietnam Sets up Tax Advisory Association
The Vietnam Tax Consultancy Association was set up in Hanoi April 17 in order to help advice tax payers.
The association has signed up 53 member companies, including 43 auditing companies, accounting, financial and tax services companies, seven law offices, and 250 individuals.
The establishment of a professional organization providing tax services will help ensure benefits of both the State and tax payers, said Nguyen Van Ninh, chief of the General Statistics Department.
About 300,000 businesses and 300,000 high income earners have to pay taxes, and ten millions people to pay land taxes at present, and the figure will increase many times in coming times. Therefore, demand for tax advisory services is urgent.
The above association is independent and counterbalanced with taxation agencies, and to protect tax payers. (Pioneer)
