Russian Group to Build US$200 Mln Five-star Hotel Complex in Vietnam
Russia’s leading real estate business, Mirax Group, August 11 officially received a license to build a US$200 million five-star hotel complex in central Vietnam.
This is the group’s first investment in Vietnam, a Mirax official said, revealing that the group also opened its representative office in Hanoi on the same day.
The complex will comprise a 300-room five-star hotel and 100 villas on the Cam Ranh peninsular of central Khanh Hoa province.
The opening of the representative office in Vietnam is Mirax’s first step in its plan to get involved in property development in Southeast Asia, a deputy chairman of the group said, adding that it will build multifunctional modern complexes in Hanoi, HCM City and Danang in the upcoming time.
Founded in 1994, Mirax is one of the five largest groups of its kind in Russia. It is carrying out projects in Ukraine, France, Turkey, Cambodia, the U.S. and Switzerland.
In Russia, it has built the 432-meter Federation, the tallest building in Europe. (Vietnam & World Economy)
