U.K. Takes Lead in FDI in Vietnam's Central City
U.K. firms have so far invested US$922 million into 10 FDI projects in Vietnam's central city of Danang, taking the lead in terms of investment value.
The U.K. is followed by South Korea with US$555 million, Japan with US$152 million and the U.S. with US$145 million, the center said.
So far, the city has licensed 141 FDI projects with registered capital of US$2.552 billion with 25 countries and territories investing in. FDI projects are in real estate, IT, manufacturing, tourism and service, electronic spare parts and apparel, it said.
Currently, the city is calling for FDI for 12 projects totaling US$1 billion. (Youth)
