Red River Delta's Cultural, Sports and Tourism Days
A festival on Red River Delta provinces’ cultural, sports and tourism days with the theme “Delta culture-Motherland-Concentration and shining” will take place in Thai Binh province between October 14 and 19 this year.
Representatives from the ten regional provinces of Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Haiphong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Hanoi, Vinh Phuc and Bac Ninh will join the event.
The festival is among the activities to mark the 1000th year of Thang Long-Hanoi, a move to implement Resolution 26-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on agriculture and rural development and provide more new tourism products to boost culture exchange among the region.
The event will include many interesting art and cultural programmes such as a seminar on traditional and modern culture of the region, a meeting to review the 20-year implementation of cultural village development and honour the villages, traditional handcraft villages’ exhibitions, volleyball matches and many other activities.
