Ministry Seeking Govt Nod for Ore Exports
The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed the government allow provinces and cities nationwide to export some kinds of refined ores this year in order to reduce inventory.
About 400,000 tons of iron ores, 84,000 tons of magnetite ores and 44,000 tons of zinc and lead ores are waiting for export by year-end.
The proposal also aims to maintain jobs for local workers and narrow budget deficit of many localities, especially mountainous provinces. (Investment)
