Denmark to Continue Infrastructure, Climate Change, Justice Ties with Vietnam

Danish Queen Margrethe II held talks with Vietnamese top leaders on the bilateral cooperation, affirming her country’s continued support for Vietnam’s infrastructure development, climate change, judiciary reform and cultural exchange.
 
Queen Margrethe II and her royal family, being accompanied by ministers of culture, environment and around 60 Danish leading enterprises on a nine-day trip to Vietnam, met with President Nguyen Minh Triet, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Party Chief Nong Duc Manh on November 2.
 
Receiving Queen Margrethe II in Hanoi, Dung hopes the European nation will continue providing ODA for Vietnam’s projects involved in dealing with climate change, treating medical wastes and improving environment.
 
PM Dung is to attend an UN Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen in December.
 
Queen Margrethe II is scheduled to join a business conference, visit the Bat Trang pottery village and present at the opening ceremony of “Emergency Room” exhibition and “Street Art Festival” on November 3.
 
The Danish Royal Family’s trip to Vietnam will last till Nov 9. (Chinhphu.vn)
