Prize-awarding Ceremony of "Starting Business 2009" Held in Hanoi
The final round and prize-awarding ceremony of Starting Business Award 2009, which was kicked off in March 2009, has recently held in Hanoi to honour outstanding businesspeople in Vietnam.
Mr Pham Gia Tuc, Vice President and General Secretary of VCCI and Head of the Organising Board, said: More than 150 projects submitted by over 300 youths and students from 23 universities and colleges nationwide. After the qualifying rounds, the organising board picked up six most excellent projects for the final round. Winners of first, second and third prizes will be honoured at the Starting Business Festival 2009.
“After seven years, the Starting Business programme has attracted 15,000 participants with nearly 1,500 business projects and initiatives and many have come into life. This programme helps inspire young people in general and students in particular to start business. Many contestants are now successful business leaders,” Mr Tuc said.
