Vietnam Named among Friendliest Countries in the World: HSBC

A global survey by the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corp. (HSBC) indicated Vietnam is among the friendliest countries in the world for expatriates to live and work in, the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) said Dec 7.
 
The survey, conducted by FreshMinds Company, showed Asia is the friendliest region with Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Malaysia topping the list.
 
Many expatriates said that they feel lucky to have been sent to Vietnam to work, the VNA cited the survey result.
 
The other friendliest countries are Bahrain, South Africa, Singapore, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates and Australia.
 
This is HSBC’s second survey on the topic and it questioned more than 3,100 expatriates from 30 different careers in 50 countries and territories in the world.
 
Last year, Germany, Canada and Spain topped the list. (VNA)
