Vietnam Exports to Laos +13.05% to $169.31M Last Year
Vietnam reaped $169.31 million from exported goods to Laos in 2009, up 13.05% from a year earlier.
Coal, petroleum products, paper products, apparel, iron and steel, machines and equipment were Vietnam’s key exports to its neighbor.
The two-way trade stood at $450 million last year, equaling the figure of 2008, resulting in Vietnam’s trade deficit of $111.38 million.
The two nations aim to boost the bilateral trade to $1 billion by 2010 and $2 billion by 2015. (Trade Info)
