More Banks Join Smartlink-BanknetVN Card Alliance

Smartlink Card Services Joint Stock Company and BanknetVN have connected its system to the four banks of Southern Joint Stock Commercial Bank (Southern Bank), the Tien Phong Joint Stock Commercial Bank (Tienphong Bank), the Viet A Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VietA Bank), and the Global Petroleum Joint Stock Commercial Bank (GP Bank). Through this, the alliance has raised its total number of members eight commercial banks.

After completing the connection, nearly 70,000 ATM cards of the aforesaid four banks could be accessible to 8,000 ATMs and over 16,000 points of sale (POSs). The card holders of these four banks can withdraw cash, check balances, print out account statement, so on and so forth through the connected system

The alliance’s eight member banks comprise Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint- stock Bank (Techcombank), Saigon Commercial Bank (Sacombank), Nam Viet Bank (Navi Bank), VietA Bank, Tienphongbank, Southern Bank and GP Bank.
