Vietnam to Remove Export Tariffs on Coke Coal, Woodworks
The Vietnamese Ministry of Finance has decided to remove the export tariffs on coke coal and woodworks which are made of imported materials.
Currently, the ministry already collects taxes from the importers of coke coal and wooden materials.
The country is applying the export tariffs at 10% for other wooden products and other types of coal.
Vietnam exported US$617 million worth of woodworks in the first two months of 2010, up 60% on-year and the country will likely fulfill the target of exporting US$3 billion worth of woodworks this year. (The People)
