Great Day for a Good Cause
Mővenpick Hotels & Resorts Group on May 29 organised the second annual charity golf tournament at the Kings’ Island golf course in Dong Mo, Hanoi City, aiming to raise fund for poor children suffering from Agent Orange victims in Vietnam.
This event is actively supported by Vietnam Airlines, Porsche, Amdocs, Comin Asia, TaylorMade and other companies.
Knuth Kiefer, General Director of Mővenpick Hotels in Vietnam, said: The Organising Board has received registration applications from 170 golfers, compared with 100 golfers in 2009. The hole-in-one award is a Porsche Cayman valued at VND3 billion and a high-end villa worth US$350,000. In June, Cayman will be released on global markets.
All the revenue from the event will be donated to the Heartbeat Vietnam.
