Vietnam Crude Oil Exports Down 14.6% to $2.18B in Jan-May
Vietnam exported $2.18 billion worth of 3.547 million metric tons of crude oil in the first five months of this year, down 14.6% from a year earlier in value and 47.9% in volume, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The nation shipped abroad 738,800 metric tons of crude oil valued at $443.5 million in May, down 44% on-year in volume but up 0.5% in value.
Australia was the top crude oil buyer of Vietnam between January and May with 1.5 million metric tons worth $973.78 million, followed by Singapore with 641,858 metric tons valued at $400 million. (Trade Info)
