The real estate market is becoming more active in the wake of more new projects to be completed and offered. Hotspots have expanded to other localities in addition to long-standing Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam Business Forum introduces ongoing real estate projects in the country.
Condominium C1 (Cau Giay, Hanoi)
The 22-storey Condominium C1, covering on 481.5 square metres in Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district, has a total investment capital of VND147.8 billion and a floor area of 10.319 square metres. This will be a temporary residence for people affected by old apartment upgrading projects in Thuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district. Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex), is the investor of the project whose preparatory works are expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2010
Tay Mo - Dai Mo Urban Zone (Hanoi)
The Hanoi People's Committee has decided to build the Tay Moi - Dai Mo new urban zone in place of Tay Nam University project. Mayor of Hanoi asserted that the construction of Tay Mo - Dai Mo new urban zone is needed to meet the urbanisation of the city and provide accommodations for civil servants.
Gardens C2-Gamuda New Urban Zone (Hanoi)
The project is invested by Gamuda Land Vietnam Co., Ltd. The investor is seeking authorities’ approval for project infrastructure design. The location is expected in Tran Phu and Yen So wards, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi. The project is hoped to cover in the region of 65.69 hectares.
Pho Noi commercial, residential and industrial park (Hung Yen)
The 14.3-hectare project is invested by Vinaconex 2 in Nghia Hiep commune, Yen My district, Hung Yen province. The project consists of 3.45 hectares of commercial and service land, 2.1 hectares for residence, 6.3 hectares for parking lots and 2.4 hectares for green trees. The project is forecast to cost VND416 billion.
The Summit Condo (Da Nang)
The 18-storey 140-apartment building is invested by Meridian Property Company at US$17 million. This is the first property project invested by the Singapore-based Meridian Property Company. The building is located on 3,800 square metres in Ngo Quyen Street, Son Tra district, Da Nang city and is expected to be completed after 18 months of construction.
Golden Square (Da Nang)
The VND1,500 billion project is invested by East Asia Real Estate Joint Stock Company. The project consists of three towers with 21-36 storeys used as apartments, hotels, offices and commercial centres. Built on more than 10,600 square metres of land in central Da Nang city, the project is being completed.
Loc An Xanh Resort (Ba Ria-Vung Tau)
The project is invested by Luong Tai Construction Investment Joint Stock Company. Located in Loc An commune, Dat Do district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the project consists of three main areas: hotel, resort and villas. It is expected to start in the first quarter of 2011.
Expanded Vinh Phu Residence II (Binh Duong)
The project is invested by Pacific Infrastructure Development and Real Estate Joint Stock Company. The Vinh Phu Residence II covers 41.07 hectares in Vinh Phu commune, Thuan An district. The People’s Committee of Binh Duong province has approved the expansion of 6.4 hectares to the residence.
Regency Park (Ho Chi Minh City)
Invested by Allgreen Company of Singapore and An Phu Company of Vietnam, Regency Park consists of 515 high-end apartments and 12 penthouses. Regency Park, located in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, is an upscale project in the long-term development strategy of the Singaporean firm in Vietnam.
Diamond Riverside and NBB Garden III (HCM City)
Invested by NBB Investment Corporation, both projects are located in Ward 16, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City. Diamond Riverside has an area of 4.15 hectares, including 3.73 hectares of land, and has two 28-floor blocks with 1,517 apartments. The first and second floors, with an area of 186,700 square metres, are used for commercial centres. The project is expected to be put into use in the fourth quarter of 2011.
NBB Garden III, covering close to 8.17 hectares, comprises six apartment blocks with 25-28 floors and 3,500 apartments, 35 land plots, a 25-storey trade centre with 54,000 square metres of floor area. The project is expected to be put into use in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Hiep Phuoc 1 and Hiep Phuoc 2 (HCM City)
Both projects are situated in Hiep Phuoc commune, Nha Be district, HCM City. The 29.2-ha Hiep Phuoc 1 embraces a condominium, semidetached houses and villas. The 29.4-ha Hiep Phuoc 2 is designed for some 8,760 residents
