Spanish Business Group Vietnam Set up in HCMC

The Spanish Business Group Vietnam (SBG Vietnam) was officially set up with a membership of 20 Spanish companies in Ho Chi Minh City on November 23, 2010. Present at the event were the Spanish Ambassador to Vietnam, representatives from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham), Spain Economic and Commercial Office in Vietnam, etc. On the occasion, SBG Vietnam officially launched its website www.spainchamvn.org.

 

Mr Carlos Garcia, Chairman of SBG Vietnam, said: The formation of SBG Vietnam is an important foundation to expand the presence of Spanish companies in Vietnam and more importantly to promote the mutual commercial ties between the two nations. In the coming time, many new companies will join SBG Vietnam - another step to become the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the future.
