Vietnam Welcomed 4.6 Million Visitors in 11 Months

According to the General Statistics Office, Vietnam welcomed around 4.6 million visitors in 11 months, up 36.5% over the same period last year. Of those, visitors for travel and recreation reached over 2.85 million, increased 42.3%, guests for business was 932 thousand, up increased 39.3%.

China still took the lead among international tourism markets a market. Since early this year, Vietnam received 833 thousand visitors from China, up 76.7% over the same period last year. Korea and China are two potential tourism markets of Vietnam that increased respectively 450 thousand visitors (up 38%) and 399 thousand visitors (up 22.8%).
