To support Vietnamese companies to exchange experience, visit and survey the US market, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is coordinating with the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce in the United States to organise trade promotion activities the North American market from April 28 to May 5 and from May 28 to June 6.
Vietnamese and American businesses have witnessed a stage of impressive growth in bilateral trade since the two countries normalised diplomatic relations in 1995. A lot of Vietnamese-branded goods have made present and made their names in the US market.
However, penetrating and continuing to stay in the US market is not easy. This requires Vietnamese companies to develop products and services that match requirements and standards as well as consumer tastes, laws and practices in the US. These are the cause of many dumping cases and trade disputes against Vietnam.
Through this programme, the VCCI hopes to create more favourable conditions for Vietnamese companies to have more opportunities of exchanging, learning, researching the market and seeking business partners as well as exploring attractions, landscapes, people and business cultures in the world’s largest economy.
