Industrial Parks Rebound Robustly

In recent years, industrial parks in Bac Ninh province have contributed significantly to the high proportion of industry in the local GDP. Each industrial Park houses several major investors to attract other smaller satellite investors, which provide supporting industries. Bac Ninh targets to develop new urban areas and to accelerate urbanization.

Here are some typical industrial parks that help to create the bright picture of Bac Ninh industry.

Tien Son Industrial Park

Tien Son Industrial Park was established by Decision No 1129/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on December 18^th 1999 with the land lease term of 50 years. Tien Son Industrial Park located on the territory of two districts Tu Son and Tien Du. Geographical location and transportation systems are extremely convenient and beneficial to investors. The industrial Park is located in the economic growth triangle Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, which borders the new highway No1 in the south, the old highway No 1 in the north, with Kenh Nam - Noi Due in the east and Provincial Road 295 in the west.

This is one of the first industrial parks in the country with modern and synchronous infrastructure. The industrial park is associated with urban areas, housing and social infrastructure services. Total investment of the infrastructure was VND 837.5 billion. Total area-oriented planning: 410ha, including 380ha for industrial park and 30 ha for urban areas.

Que Vo Industrial ParkThis is the first industrial park to combine with resident and urban areas in Vietnam. Que Vo Industrial Park was established by Prime Minister's decision No 1224 /QD-TTg dated December 19, 2002. The industrial Park is located in the northern key economic triangle: Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. Que Vo Industrial Park is built into a unified architectural and modern line with the objectives of Bac Ninh becoming an industrial city. This is one of the largest industrial parks and of primary importance for Bac Ninh province, as well as the entire north named Kinhbaccity.

Yen Phong Industrial Park

Yen Phong Industrial Park belongs to Yen Phong district, is part of the project consortium of industrial parks - Yen Phong urban. With the scale of an urban Park typed V, the population is about 45,000 people. The area is 651ha. It concentrates multiple industrial sectors, only approved investment projects and business establishments that do not cause environmental pollution, including industries such as pharmaceuticals, veterinary drugs, animal feed, industrial light industry, consumer goods manufacturing, construction materials, and engineering. Yen Phong Industrial Park is built with a modern design to ensure conditions for industrial development and environmental protection, investment promotion, industrial production and economic - social conformity of Bac Ninh with the policy of industrialization and modernization of the Party and State.

Vietnam - Singapore Industrial ParkVietnam – Singapore Industrial park is located on the intersection between the new highway No 1 and Provincial Road No. 271, 16km to the capital Hanoi, 100 km to Hai Phong port , 39 km to Noi Bai International Airport, 125 km to Cai Lan port, Quang Ninh 125 km. The total planned area is 700 ha including 500 ha industrial Park and 200 ha urban area. This is a planned industrial park and modern construction to attract high-tech projects of multinational corporations.

Khai Son - Thuan Thanh 3 Industrial Park

This IP is located at Thanh Khuong village, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province which is a very important strategic location in the key economic triangle north of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, close to 4^th Ring Road 20km from the north-east to the centre of Hanoi, immediately adjacent to Highway 282 (later will develop into a national road 18B), 30 m wide cross-section and A Lu port of Duong river which is the two main trunk roads and waterways linking the capital Hanoi and the northeastern provinces. The industrial park has a total planning area of 1,000 ha of which 140ha is in stage 1. This is a combination of modern urban industrial areas, including operating and maintenance services, industrial factories, parks, and urban area.

With main investment sectors of manufacture and assembly of electrical, electronics and telecommunications, engineering, steel and steel products, manufacturing, consumer goods, garments, agricultural processing and pharmaceutical, Khai Son - Thuan Thanh 3 Industrial Park offers modern technical systems to ensure enterprise the best business environment.

Besides the typical industrial parks mentioned above, currently Bac Ninh has planned, developed and expanded many industrial parks, with some finishing infrastructure construction and soon coming into operation, such as Yen Phong Industrial Park 2, Nam Son - Hap Linh; Que Vo Industrial Park 2; Dai Dong - Hoan Son, Que Vo Industrial Park 3, Tu Son industrial Park; Hanaka industrial Park; Thuan Thanh Industrial Park 2, Dai Kim industrial Park, and Gia Binh industrial Park.
