Exhibition on 10-year Mekong Delta Achievements

The Steering Committee for the Southwest Region and the Organising Committee for the Exhibition of 10 years of Mekong Delta Construction Achievements have released the first information about the exhibition, set to open from April 27 to May 1, 2012 in Can Tho City.

 

The exhibition, which is expected to have 500 - 700 booths, will display 10 years of implementing Resolution 21 of the Politburo. It will be incorporated with conferences and seminars, aiming to find practical and effective solutions and propose mechanisms and policies for Mekong Delta development.

 

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Head of the Steering Committee for the Southwest Region, said: The Mekong Delta is a key economic zone in Vietnam. This is a food supplier not only for Vietnam but also for the world. For that reason, the exhibition is an important event to reassess regional achievements over the past 10 years, and is also an opportunity to introduce and attract domestic and foreign investors.
