Indonesian Culinary Week Opens

To mark the 59th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi together with the Hanoi Horison Hotel organised an Indonesian Culinary Week at the hotel on August 18-20. Famous Indonesian dishes were introduced together with nearly 100 kinds of bantic textiles, traditional dances and a fashion show.

Speaking at the occasion, Indonesian Ambassador Artauli R.M.P. Tobing highlighted the close friendship and ever-growing cooperation between the two countries in the past 49 years. The ambassador expressed his hope that bilateral cooperation would continue to strengthen and that the celebration would help Vietnamese people better understand the land and people of Indonesia, a country with over 300 nationalities.
