Nha Trang Textile JSC Affirming Brand

Being properly invested with a closed production process, Nha Trang Textile Joint Stock Company has been constantly growing and become a remarkable business in Vietnam’s textile. Products of the company always pass the stringent standards of the market with 95 percent of garments exported to America and Europe. In particular, the fiber products - staple of the corporation are appreciated by domestic and international customers.

Founded in April, 1979 under the original name Nha Trang Fibers Plant, after a period of continuous expansion and innovation to improve the quality and product diversification, in August, 2006 the company officially changed its name to Nha Trang Textile JSC and operates under equitisation model.

Having operated over the last 30 years in fiber production and 20 years in producing the finished garment dyeing (with closed production lines from spinning, weaving, dyeing, sewing, extracting maximum application capable), the company has won the trust of both domestic customers and foreign customers by ensuring quality, continuous improving to create a variety of styles; reputable service delivery and ensuring social responsibility.
 
In 2012 the company exported 30 percent of its fiber output, while providing many solutions to increasing productivity, lowering production costs, finding more cooperation and more new customers, particularly for garment products of the company (produced from spinning to dyeing and sewing) in 2012 the company exported US$12 million, up 21.2 percent from 2011.
 
To promote the achievement, the company has constantly expanded investment and production, in April 2012 the company put into operation the Fiber Plant No.3 (40,000 spindles, the production capacity of 5,000 tonnes/ year) into production bringing the total number of spindles to 166,000 with the production capacity of 17,000 tonnes / year. In 2011 and 2012, the company also added two more garment factories, bringing the total number of production lines to 25 export lines and reached 6 million products / year. It is expected that in 2013 exports of the textile and dyed garment will reach US$18 million. It can be said when the new plant goes into operation, it will increase sales and profits for the company, contributing to social and economic stability in the area.

To make certain achievements to create company’s brand of Nha Trang Textile, it is a long process attempts to set out the right strategy through each era of corporate leaders. Improving living conditions and training skilled staff members and workers are indispensable in the development strategy. Speaking on this, Mr Vo Dinh Hung, Deputy General Director of the company said: "Currently we established a training facility at the company (with equipment, teaching staff and materials ...) for training for unskilled labour, each student will be supported over VND1 million / month, rice and shuttle bus during 3 months. Besides, the company now has 17 shuttle buses to pick up staff and employees.” In addition the company has promoted environmental issues and occupational safety for workers, waste water treatment system to avoid polluting the environment surrounding production areas in order to contribute positively to raise social consciousness.

The company is ready to capture market opportunities; continuous improves modern technology to increase product quality, and focuses on developing the plant fiber and garment projects towards development of Nha Trang Textile into Centre of Textile in the Central region (focusing both staples which are fiber and knitted garment exports to the U.S., Europe, and Japan); thus, helping to confirm the brand of Nha Trang Textile and contribute to the economic development of Khanh Hoa province.
